The truth is I am not trained in art. Real artists do 4+ years in university, and spend much effort on learning additional skills such as perspective, composition, lighting, mood, emotion... I will never go to art school, partly due to lack of serious interest, partly due to the abysmal earning potential upon completion. So, it would be ignorant of me to ever assume I will achieve a comparable level of artistic skill...
However, I do intend to improve my art skill, within the limited scope I control. Areas such as adding more detail, refining anatomy knowledge, and some basic background improvements. Unfortunately, I find realistic shading/coloring to be incessantly annoying to me, not to mention prohibitively time-consumptive, taking up easily 80% of the time to complete an illustration. So, that is a severe limitation to my producing finished pieces...
In the end, my art needs to be good enough to make my games fun to play, and that is what I will focus on primarily.

I have to say your art has improved since I've seen it in your games but being 100% honest I feel that you still have a ways to go.
