Level Select is in the pause menu.

Neat game idea. Nice variation on the cannon aiming game. Well made and nice graphics/animation. The only annoying part was every level under 20 was simplistic and then 21 was really hard and 22... impossible... I watched the walkthru and tried 10 times. didnt work...

So other than that... good game.

Thanks guys for the feedback. Glad everyone likes the burning toilets :)

Art, idea, and gameplay are all good.

The only 'problem' is there is no ending. Which might be OK if there was a point to keep playing after you get your wife... but there isn't, unless you just want to collect ridiculous amounts of money. Since the game runs by itself, there's no reason to try for the high score because whoever started first will always be ahead.

Another side note is the other 2 women become useless once you buy your wife so there's no point to distribute flowers either.

The game is really good, 4 stars, but could be improved by adding a reason (or multiple reasons) to keep playing after 2 days. (or just eliminate that 'idle' function so you have to 'earn' the rewards by actually playing the game.)

Junjo responds:

Thanks!

About the ending... well, "idle" games usually don't need that (in fact, you don't want that).
Nobody knows why we keep playing them without a reason, but we do :P

You created the dark mood really well in this game. Maybe add in a rain layer in front of the action as well just to increase the immersion feel. I found the puzzles to be pleasantly subtle and a refreshing change from most mindless platformers but it was weakened by the lack of story.

Her attack was also really too weak. She has a massive sword with only a feeble thrust that takes 3 hits to kill the first enemy... Maybe the sword was too heavy for her? A fancier attack animation or multiple attack animations would also increase the visual appeal.

The jumping was frustrating. The slow start to the jump made timing platform jumps difficult and the slow direction change also made me fall down holes or hit enemies or spikes alot. This is compounded by the precision needed everywhere in this game. I eventually got it after a few tries but eventually I got bored replaying the same level over and over so I didn't play past Level 3.

On a side note, the easier difficulty didn't help me because I wasn't dying from losing health but from missing platforms and falling down holes.

Really good submission considering this is your first posted game however. Please make more. :)

Etherblood responds:

The foremost (used) game-layer already is a rain layer, I could increase the amount of rain drops if that's what you mean? I don't want to overdo it though as the weather shouldn't distract.
I agree with the story and attack parts,
and I'll think about the jump controls for my next game, as jumping is one of the most vital parts of a platformer.
Do you know that you can jump further if you jump while walking? If not I might need some way to communicate it to the player in the tutorial level.
Also you should play the remaining 2 levels, these aren't really about jump precision.
(level 4 comes close to it though, just try it and stop if you dislike it)
And I will make more, but it will take some time.
Thanks for your useful feedback.

I liked this game. Sure, it's just snake, but it's relaxing to play, and I experienced no lag or weird explosions. I'm going to play it again now!

egg82 responds:

Thanks for the kind review. I'm with you on the "no lag or weird explosions" - I've played this game quite a lot by now and I still haven't been able to reproduce any of the issues i've been hearing about O.o

It just froze when I pressed start. Options and credits work. Fly looks cute. Using Chrome, Flash 11.8

abaldwin11 responds:

What version of Chrome are you using? I have tested in IE, Firefox, and Chrome with no crashing.

You need a better explanation of how to play. Maybe a video or some examples. I played a few times and which board is coming up next seemed totally random. If it had been explained properly this would have been a good game.

Karamchi responds:

If you play, for example, in the top right corner of any square, then your opponent has to play in top right corner square (and, yes, I should have explained it like that in the game). I know it is not that easy to understand, but i thought that the logic could be guessed in a few plays.

Neat idea but really hard to control the spike with the mouse, like when you need to stab enemies, and paying all my money to buy an UPGRADE slot was annoying. So, I died at Boss # 1.

TotemStudios responds:

You can use space to rotate the spike.

I'm using Chrome and it just freezes at the first screen...

KazaaMafia responds:

Clear your browser cache.. I've tested this on 4 different machines and I'm getting no problems with none of them.

I didn't get hit until the first boss and then I got destroyed without hitting him once... I would have liked it better if you made it a side-scroller, or had more ways to avoid enemies like platforms OR added in finishing moves! >:)

This game reminded me of the old PC game "Kung Fu" which is likely intended. Here's a funny remake: http://www.classicgamesarcade.com/gam e/21623/kung-fu-remix.html

iplayallday responds:

you can get the mobile version which is exactly what you expect :)

I do not exist. It is just your imagination playing tricks on you. Try again in the next reality.
